Solana Electrical serves Youngtown homes from our base in El Mirage, just across the Agua Fria River. Call and a real person answers, any hour, and you hear the price before anyone drives over.
Youngtown was founded in 1954 as the first planned community in the United States built only for retirees. Ben Schleifer designed it on 320 acres of farmland, and 125 homes were built by 1955. The town incorporated in 1960, the same year Sun City opened next door. It sits on the east bank of the Agua Fria River and is home to Maricopa Lake.
Many Youngtown homes date from those early decades, and their electrical systems were planned for far fewer appliances than a home runs today. An original panel or wiring added to over the years is common. A breaker that trips often or lights that flicker are worth a phone call, so we can tell you whether it needs attention now or can wait until morning.
Youngtown is an incorporated town, so electrical permits go through the Town of Youngtown Community Development Department, not Maricopa County. Electric service here is provided by APS. If the whole street is dark, call APS. If only your home, or only part of it, lost power, call us.
A real person answers any hour. You hear the price before we come out, and our work carries a two-year warranty on labor and material.

Yes. Youngtown is close to our base in El Mirage, and we serve it along with Sun City and the rest of the West Valley.
Not always. Age alone does not mean a home needs rewiring. Outlets that feel warm, breakers that trip often or lights that dim when an appliance starts are good reasons to have it checked. A burning smell or a hot panel is a reason to call right away.
Yes. Pricing is given before dispatch. There is a trip and diagnostic fee that depends on distance, and nights and weekends cost more. You hear all of that on the phone before anyone drives out.
