Solana Electrical serves Scottsdale homes and businesses for planned electrical projects. A real person answers the phone any hour, and you hear the price before anyone is sent out.
Scottsdale took its name in 1894 from its founder, a retired U.S. Army chaplain, and it incorporated as a city in 1951 with about 2,000 residents. By the 2020 census it had grown to 241,361. Old Town Scottsdale and Taliesin West are two of its most familiar places.
Homes and storefronts here often call for work that takes some planning. We install interior and landscape lighting, EV chargers, new circuits and panel upgrades, and we handle tenant improvement work for small commercial spaces. Scottsdale is on the far side of the Valley from our base in El Mirage, so our trip and diagnostic fee is higher here than in the Sun Cities. You hear that number on the phone first, and nobody drives out until you agree.
In Scottsdale, electrical permits come from the city’s Planning and Development Services. The city says a permit is required to install, alter or repair electrical wiring on any building, structure, swimming pool or mechanical equipment, and many single family jobs qualify for a simpler minimum permit. Scottsdale is split between APS and SRP, so check your bill to know which utility serves your address.
A real person answers any hour. You hear the price before we come out, and our work carries a two-year warranty on labor and material.

We do, and we are upfront about it. Scottsdale is a long way from our base in El Mirage, so the trip and diagnostic fee is higher. We give you that number on the phone before anyone is sent. For most Scottsdale customers, planned work like lighting, an EV charger or a panel upgrade is the right fit.
Often, yes. The City of Scottsdale requires a permit to install, alter or repair electrical wiring, including for pools and mechanical equipment. Many single family jobs use a minimum permit, and we take care of it for our work.
Yes. We handle tenant improvements and service calls for small commercial spaces, and we can talk through the scope on the phone before anyone drives out.
Both. Some Scottsdale addresses are served by APS and others by SRP. Your bill tells you which one to call for a neighborhood outage.
Yes. Pricing is given before dispatch. There is a trip and diagnostic fee that depends on distance, and nights and weekends cost more. You hear all of that on the phone before anyone drives out.
