Solana Electrical handles planned electrical projects in Gilbert, from panel upgrades to EV chargers. A real person answers any hour, and you hear the trip fee before anyone drives across the Valley.
Gilbert grew up around a rail line built through the area in the early 1900s and incorporated as a town on July 6, 1920. For decades it stayed a small farm town, with 5,717 residents in 1980. By 2020 it had 267,918, and it is often called the most populous incorporated town in the country. The downtown water tower is still a local landmark.
Because most of Gilbert’s growth came after 1980, many homes there have newer panels and wiring than older parts of the Valley. The work that makes sense from here tends to be additions: an EV charger circuit, whole home surge protection, an inspection before a home sale, or a build out for a business space. Gilbert is far from our base in El Mirage, so the trip and diagnostic fee reflects the distance, and we tell you what it is on the phone first.
Two electric utilities serve Gilbert, SRP and APS, so your bill tells you which one to call when the power is out. Gilbert is a town, not a city, and electrical permits go through the Town of Gilbert Development Services Building Safety division rather than Maricopa County.

Yes, for planned work. Gilbert is across the Valley from our base in El Mirage, so we do not promise same-day visits there. The trip and diagnostic fee depends on distance, and you hear it on the phone before we schedule anything.
Both utilities serve parts of Gilbert. Your electric bill shows which one serves your address, and that is the company to call when your street loses power.
Newer homes are usually wired for what came with the house. Adding an EV charger, a workshop or a spa can call for a new circuit or a closer look at the panel. We tell you plainly if your panel can handle it as it is.
Gilbert is an incorporated town, so electrical permits go through the Town of Gilbert Building Safety division, part of Development Services.
