Solana Electrical serves Buckeye homes and businesses from our base in El Mirage. Buckeye is farther out than our core area, so we give you the trip fee on the phone, and a real person answers any hour.
Buckeye grew up along the Buckeye Canal, dug in the 1880s and named for Ohio, the Buckeye State. The town was founded in 1888 under another name, took the name Buckeye officially in 1910, and incorporated in 1929. The original Buckeye Union High School building, known as the A Wing, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Buckeye covers about 393 square miles, the second largest city in Arizona by area. Its population went from 6,537 in 2000 to 91,502 in 2020, so most homes here are recent, in communities such as Verrado, Sundance and Festival Ranch. A newer home is often ready for an EV charger or a dedicated circuit for a shop. A home from the farm town years may need a panel evaluation first.
Buckeye sits inside APS territory on the APS service map, but the city is large, so confirm with your bill. Electrical permits go through the City of Buckeye Permit Center, and a new residential electric permit asks for details such as breaker size, load calculations and a panel schedule. Buckeye is one of the farthest West Valley cities we serve, so the trip and diagnostic fee depends on distance, and you hear it before anyone drives out.
A real person answers any hour. You hear the price before we come out, and our work carries a two-year warranty on labor and material.

Yes. Buckeye is one of the farthest West Valley cities we serve from El Mirage, and it covers a lot of ground. The trip and diagnostic fee depends on how far out you are, and we tell you what it is on the phone before anyone drives out.
Buckeye falls inside APS territory on the APS service map. Check your bill to be sure, and call APS if the whole neighborhood loses power.
The City of Buckeye Permit Center handles it. For new residential electric work the city asks for a plot plan, the size of the new breaker, load calculations and a panel schedule. We tell you when your job needs a permit.
Many newer Buckeye homes have room for one, but not all. We look at your panel and what it already carries, then tell you plainly whether a new circuit is enough or an upgrade comes first.
