Many homes in Sun City and Sun City West were built with a single ceiling fixture in each room, and some rooms with none at all, just a switched outlet for a lamp. That was normal at the time, but it can leave kitchens, hallways and reading spots darker than you would like.
Adding light to an older home means checking what is above the ceiling first: the attic space, the framing and the circuit the new lights will share. We look at all of that before we quote, so the lights go where you want them and the circuit can carry them.
We talk through where the light is needed and place fixtures to light the room evenly, not just the middle of it.
